Overview

AutoInsulate helps Revit MEP teams replace repetitive manual insulation work with a more controlled, repeatable workflow. Users can define reusable rules by system type and size range, add exceptions where needed, and apply those rules to the current selection, active view, or full model.

The rules are stored in the Revit model, making it easy to work with project-specific settings. For a consistent starting point across projects, it is good practice to save your default rules in the company Revit template.

  • Rule-based insulation setup
  • Selection, active view, or full-model application
  • JSON import and export for settings reuse
  • Rules stored directly in the Revit model
