TagSuite
Build reusable tagging rules, apply them to the right views, and keep annotation work more consistent across Revit projects.
Overview
TagSuite gives Revit users one focused workspace for defining, saving, and applying tagging rules where they matter. Instead of repeating the same annotation decisions view by view, teams can prepare rule logic once and reuse it when project conditions change.
Saved XML rule sets help teams keep a repeatable starting point without forcing every project into the same setup.
What It Does
Reusable tag rules
Create and manage rules with category filters, parameter filters, view filters, and tag family selection.
View-aware tagging runs
Apply rules to a selection, the active view, or selected views that use chosen view templates.
Flexible tag modes
Work with category tags, multi-category tags, material tags, keynotes, and detail item markers.
Cleanup after placement
Control existing-tag behavior and use built-in alignment tools to improve layout after automated placement.
Why Teams Use It
- Reduce repeated tagging setup work by keeping rules in one reusable workspace
- Target the right views instead of repeating manual annotation steps
- Reuse XML rule sets across teams and projects
- Include linked-model content when needed for wider coordination workflows
