Overview
TiMBIM Manage is built for project preparation work that often gets spread across separate tools, spreadsheets, and manual cleanup sessions. Instead of switching between disconnected utilities, users can work from one ribbon location and move between project, coordination, family, view, sheet, and classification tasks with a more consistent workflow.
Where it matters, preview-first workflows help users review larger changes before writing them back to the model.
What You Can Manage
Project
Review project information, linked files, grouped Revit warnings, reusable element sets, element details, and parameter-based checks from one workspace.
Coordinate
Compare model alignment, acquire shared coordinates with safeguards, copy selected elements and datums, and transfer selected families or system types from a source model.
Families
Review loadable and system families, their types and placed instances, and materials from one workspace. Edit supported parameters, preview governed renames, and clean up unused content.
Views
Build views from levels, create dependent views, rename existing views with reusable logic, and remove views with more control than a one-click delete pass.
Sheets
Generate sheets from source views, control legends and title blocks, manage sheet data in a grid, and define size profiles for more consistent layout behavior.
Classifications
Define classification systems, use available starter rules based on Revit categories, types, and parameters, refine chapter rules, and validate results before IFC export or handover.
Compatibility and Requirements
- Supports Autodesk Revit 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027 with version-specific add-in components.
- Activation uses the licensed email address and license key supplied with the TiMBIM license.
- All Revit sessions should be closed before installing or updating the add-in.
- Autodesk Docs projects must be available through Desktop Connector for Project to show their local path, file size, and modified date. Other project information remains available without it.
